The Risk Factors for Sexual Assault in the Military: Results of the 2018 Workplace & Gender Relations Survey of the Active Duty (2018 WGRA) infographic highlights the estimated prevalence of sexual assault and the risk factors associated with sexual assault in the military for men and women among active duty military members. In particular, in 2018, there was a significant increase in the estimated prevalence of sexual assault for DoD women, from 4.3% in 2016 to 6.2%.
