This report contains tabulations of responses from the 2016 Workplace and Gender Relations Survey of Active Duty Members (2016 WGRA) conducted from July 25 to October 14, 2016. The 2016 WGRA continues a line of military sexual assault and sexual harassment research begun in 1988.
Note: Prior to 2025, OPA research products used the term “gender” to describe men and women. These groups were defined using survey items and/or administrative data categories for “male” and “female”; therefore, references to gender should be understood to mean “sex”.
