The 2023 Workplace and Gender Relations Survey of Military Members: Air Force Results briefing presents results for the Air Force Active component and Air Force Reserve from the 2023 Workplace and Gender Relations Survey (2023 WGR), administered July 31, 2023, to November 30, 2023. This briefing presents prevalence estimates for unwanted sexual contact, sexual harassment, and sex discrimination in the Air Force Active and Reserve components and key insights regarding the characteristics of incidents that occurred in the prior year.
Note: Prior to 2025, OPA research products used the term “gender” to describe men and women. These groups were defined using survey items and/or administrative data categories for “male” and “female”; therefore, references to gender should be understood to mean “sex”.
