In Group 2019 Workplace and Equal Opportunity Survey of Reserve Component Members

Details

The executive note, Estimated Rates of Past Year Racial/Ethnic Harassment and Discrimination by Gender and Race/Ethnicity Among Reserve Component Members: Findings From the 2019 WEOR provides the estimated prevalence of racial/ethnic harassment and racial/ethnic discrimination by race/ethnicity and sex. Results indicated that for Reserve component women and men, Black members were at the greatest risk. Additionally, Reserve component women were at greater risk than Reserve component men. Note: Prior to 2025, OPA research products used the term “gender” to describe men and women. These groups were defined using survey items and/or administrative data categories for “male” and “female”; therefore, references to gender should be understood to mean “sex”.
