Public Relations
To promote a positive image of military service, JAMRS coordinates a series of public affairs initiatives. These initiatives are designed to increase the relevance and visibility of the Military while also improving the public’s understanding of military service.
FUTURES Magazine
FUTURES magazine is an annual joint publication highlighting the opportunities available in the military by providing a 360-degree view of life—both on and off duty—in Service members’ own words. The audience includes both youth and adult influencers, specifically school counselors as they’re the recipients of the magazines at the 37,000+ schools we ship FUTURES to each fall.
FUTURES distribution covers 97% of high schools nationwide, as well as community colleges nationwide, and Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) high schools worldwide.
JAMRS works with each of the Military Services’ recruiting entities to identify and select Service members to showcase each year. All content in the magazine—as well as all JAMRS’ market communications—is informed by JAMRS’ market research.
